What is Depression?
Depression is different from occasional sadness or dips in mood. It impairs a person’s ability to engage in their normal lives. Depression can cause people to lose interest in the things they love to do, withdraw from friends and family, feel a sense of hopelessness about the future, feel excessive guilt, and even contemplate suicide. Depression is a relatively common condition and is treatable with natural, non-pharmaceutical protocols.
What causes Depression?
Depression is caused by a combination of several factors. Our genetic makeup can play a role in predisposing us to becoming depressed. Brain chemistry can play a role when there is an imbalance of the chemicals used to transmit information in the brain (called neurotransmitters).
Sometimes, it’s the emotional wounds we suffer early in life that can cause depression-like symptoms. These traumas can become core beliefs and run, much like a tape on repeat, in the background of our everyday thought patterns.
How common is Depression, and how long does it last?
Depression is a very common form of mental distress/illness. Many people have experienced a “depressive episode” at some point. The duration of the symptoms depends on the type of depression. Some people’s episodes that last weeks to months. Others may experience a milder yet more chronic version of depression that can last for years. Bipolar Disorder is a condition in which people experience shifts in mood that include periods of Depression coupled with manic episodes.

How do we treat Depression?
We utilize a process called Quantum Neurological Reset Therapy (QNRT). When negative thoughts are running in a loop over and over to the point that they take over as core beliefs, they can in turn create a physiological response such as headaches, digestive issues, panic attacks, allergies, insomnia and more. QNRT can settle down these physiological responses to allow your system a “reset” and/or “flip” the brain in order to provide time to “erase” old, historical files of outworn beliefs that are serving us negatively.
Quantum Neurological Therapy for Depression
QNRT is based on the premise that our emotions and nervous system control the destiny of our true health. This therapy is designed to create quantum shifts in the body by releasing the brain from emotional shocks that are lodged in the nervous system, which unburdens the nervous system and in turn, reduces the total body and emotional stress load.
